After the first televised debate held on the 15th, the audience believed that the best performer was Tugendat, chairman of the foreign affairs committee of the lower house of parliament.
The latest poll released by the British “Sunday Telegraph” shows that nearly half of the voters believe that former British Chancellor of the Exchequer Sunak is better than Foreign Secretary Truss and former Defense Secretary Mordaunt.
But Truss also enjoys broad support, including among Johnson’s advocates. In addition, Mordaunt ranked first in a poll of 200,000 Conservative Party members.
