Serbia will not be able to count on the presence of the audience at just one qualifying match for the European Championship
Good news for the Football Association of Serbia, the national team and all fans of the Serbian national team! The UEFA appeals committee accepted the appeal of the FSS against the penalty imposed on Serbia after the match between Montenegro and the Eagles in Podgorica at the start of the Euro qualifiers.
The penalty was reduced from two to one game without an audience, so fans will be banned from entering the match against Hungary on September 7. However, already on October 17, when Montenegro visits Belgrade, we will see, we hope, full stands of the stadium!
However, even against Hungary, the stadium will not be empty, children up to 14 years of age will be allowed to attend the match, so solid stands are expected even then. Before that, we have a friendly visit to Bulgaria on June 20, as well as a friendly match with Jordan on June 16 in Vienna.
