Ukraine-Russia: news on today’s war. Torture room found in Bucha

Not just Bucha’s horror. “It is nothing but the tip of the iceberg,” assures the head of Ukrainian diplomacy Dmytro Kuleba. Because the cities martyrs of an ever more atrocious war are multiplying: Odessa, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Kherson. Here the battle does not stop, with the forces of Moscow trying to reorganize to launch the final assault on the Donbass. Meanwhile, they target inhabited centers with their missiles, with the besieged or fleeing civilian population, often prey to unscrupulous soldiers and militiamen. Like in Mariupol: here, on the shores of the Azov Sea, the situation is even worse than in Bucha, reports Kiev.

Meanwhile, still in Mariupol, there is insistent testimony on hundreds of civilians, especially women and children, forcibly taken from shelters and forced to flow into transition camps before being deported to Russia. Moscow denies and speaks of hundreds of inhabitants who voluntarily wanted to enter Russian territory.

More missiles also on Odessa. The pearl of the Black Sea has been left without electricity and the lack of fuel causes endless queues to refuel and prepare for a possible escape by car. The situation was worse in nearby Mykolaiv, on which the Russians would continue to drop the notorious cluster bombs on civilian buildings. Here there are deaths and injuries, even among people queuing at a bus stop and on board one of them. A massacre. A few kilometers away, in the center of Kherson now completely occupied by the Russians, the desperate appeal of the local authorities arises: “We are blocked by the invaders and all the supplies of food, medicine and fuel are running out.” A cry for help probably destined to fall on deaf ears. And in Kharkiv there are dramatic hours waiting for the final attack.
