The Offspring performed at the Lollapalooza Brasil 2024 on Friday night (22). The punk rock band took the stage Budweiser punctually at 19h05.
This is not the first time they have come to the country. All in all, since they brought a tour in 1997have already carried out 30 shows on Brazilian soil.
At the festival, the group made up of Dexter Holland, Noodles, Todd Morse, Jonah Nimoy e Brandon Pertzbornstole the show, despite the big highlight of the night being the Blink-182. The heavy rain that started right when they took the stage also didn’t take away the energy of thousands of fans who came to watch them and heard a sequence of hits during the performance.
Right at the beginning, the vocalist took the risk of speaking in Portuguese and said “what’s up” to the Brazilians. Incredulous with the number of people in the place and the energy transmitted, the group thanked everyone and openly stated that this was the best show of all.
Excitedly, on Thursday (21) they even made a publication on social media with the nation’s flag and wrote in the caption: “We are arriving Brazil”. With lots of headbanging, the show also featured other statements in Portuguese, confetti and a drum solo.
Known for songs like “You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid”, “Gotta Get Away”, “Self Esteem” e “The Kids Aren’t Alright”the band emerged in 1984 in the city of Huntington Beachnos USA.

Just not Spotifythey have more than 19 million monthly listeners. Their last release on the platform was a celebratory re-release by 15 years from the album “Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace” last year.
Before reaching the Brazilthe musicians went through Peru, Chile, Argentina e Paraguayand now, move on to the Estereo Picnic Festivalwhich takes place in Colombia em March 24.
