NEW YORK – Record compensation or hoax deal, but perhaps not the end of one of the biggest sex scandals in American history. The Boy Scouts of America will compensate thousands of people who have declared themselves victims of sexual abuse with compensation amounting to a record $ 850 million. The agreement, which arrived in court where a large civil lawsuit is celebrated, is the largest among those related to child abuse in the history of the United States.
