The departure of Gladys Gutiérrez from the presidency of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) is imminent. According to sources, the magistrates of the highest Venezuelan court will hold the Plenary Chamber to elect the new board. Judge Caryslia Beatriz Rodríguez is expected to be appointed as the new president, while Tania D’Amelio will become the new president of the Constitutional Chamber. The appointment of the new authorities will take place prior to the opening of the Judicial Year, which will be inaugurated with the presence of Nicolás Maduro.
