Malaysian national team star Faisal Halim reportedly starting to improve and was able to undergo light exercise on Wednesday (8/5).

Faisal Halim experienced a terrible incident after being doused with acid by an unknown person, Sunday (5/5). As a result of this incident, Faisal underwent intensive treatment and even surgery as a recovery process.

Quoted from Bernama, Selangor FC Technical Committee Head Datuk Seri Shahril Mokhtar said Faisal Halim was allowed to eat and do light exercise on his own four days after undergoing treatment.

On Wednesday morning, Seri Shahril visited Mickey, Faisal’s greeting, with the Sultan of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris.

“The second operation was carried out last night for three hours, the results reported by specialist doctors were very positive. Thank you for the prayers of the entire football family and the Malaysian people,” said Shahril, quoted from Named.

“When the Raja Muda of Selangor visited Faisal Halim this morning, he was able to eat, something good, he was also excited to get up and do football practice. For me [perkembangan] This is very proud,” Shahril added.

Shahril, who is also vice president of Selangor, said Faisal still had to undergo two more operations. While undergoing treatment, the 26 year old player will receive full assistance from the Selangor Government.

“We want the best for him, so the best usually costs a lot of money, but the Raja Muda of Selangor himself has given a guarantee that there is no need to worry because the Palace, the Raja Muda himself, if necessary, will cover the medical costs,” said Shahril.
