Maracaibo Man Fatally Shot in Maicao
Carlos Torrealba, a 35-year-old native of Maracaibo, Venezuela, was tragically killed in a shooting incident in Maicao, Colombia. The victim was driving a motorcycle when he was attacked by individuals who had been following him. Initially believed to be a hitman attack, it was later revealed that Torrealba was robbed and resisted, leading to the fatal gunshot wounds.
The incident took place on 6th Street and 29th Street in the Vincula Palacio neighborhood of Maicao. Witnesses reported seeing a subject on a motorcycle shoot Torrealba as he was riding, causing him to crash and fall to the side of the street. Despite efforts by family members and arriving officers, Torrealba was pronounced dead at the scene.
