A blessing in disguise: Pop singer Vicky Leandros, who is currently on her farewell tour “I love life”, fell from the one meter high stage during a performance in the Kuppelsaal in Hanover on Friday evening. This is reported by the “Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung”.
Accordingly, Leandros had an accident during the performance of her hit “I love life”. According to “Bild”, employees present immediately rushed to help, and the audience then stopped clapping and singing.

Leandros has no bruises or pain
The morning after the accident, the 71-year-old told the German newspaper: “It’s a miracle that nothing happened to me.” She tripped on stage and fell off the stage in free fall. “Luckily I fell on my side,” said Leandros, and continued: “I must have had a lot of guardian angels, because I could have fallen on my head or broken anything.” According to her own statement, she doesn’t even have a bruise or any pain.
Because of the shock, it didn’t occur to her to cancel the concert. Instead, she got up again and continued singing. «This happened to me for the first time in my entire career. “Falling off the stage is every artist’s nightmare!” admits the artist.
The musician will undergo another thorough medical examination on Monday. Then in the evening she will be on stage in Berlin’s Friedrichstadt Palast.
