FC Red Bull Salzburg beat SK Sturm 1-0 at the end of the 24th round of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga. The gold goal scorer in a heated game is Mads Bidstrup
Sturm starts quickly and puts Salzburg under pressure early on, which gives the “Bulls” room to counter. Fernando had the best chances in the first part of the game, but the Brazilian shot just wide of the goal four times (3rd, 29th, 40th, 43rd).
The “Blackies” usually combine well into the penalty area, but concrete chances are rare in the first half.

The second half starts with a cold shower for the home team. After a corner, Sturm can only clear briefly, Bidstrup doesn’t hesitate and sends the rebound from the edge of the penalty area directly into the near corner (48th).
The “Blackies” almost managed to equalize shortly afterwards. But a long-range shot from Gazibegovic only hits the bar (53′). On the other hand, a Salzburg goal is denied validity because of an offside position.
In a hectic stoppage time, Jon Gorenc-Stankovic and Dimitri Lavalee each received a red card, Gourna-Douath received a yellow-red card and Salzburg won the game with one more player. After the final whistle, Sturm’s sports director Andreas Schicker also received a red card.
This means that the series champion remains first and extends the lead over SK Sturm to five points.
