Vittorio Cecchi Gori (81 years old) is hospitalized in intensive care at Gemelli Polyclinic in Rome. Presenter Eleonora Daniele revealed it live this morning on Storie Italiane on Rai1. The entrepreneur, former politician and film producer was reportedly hospitalized at the beginning of the week due to his worsening health conditions.
“Very delicate situation”
There is maximum confidentiality on the part of the Polyclinic, but from indiscretions that filter through people close to Cecchi Gori it seems that the picture of clinical instability is very serious. “Rita Rusic had spoken to Professor Landi because over the weekend Vittorio had complained of ailments, with very low heart rates and they had planned to be hospitalized for tests on Monday; therefore, luck was that he was already in hospital, but between Monday night and Tuesday morning there was a respiratory crisis which forced the doctors to transfer the entrepreneur to intensive care“, he said Angelo Perronefriend and historian collaborator of Cecchi Gori. “Yesterday afternoon there were some signs of improvement, but the situation remains very delicatea”, he declared in the Storie Italiane studio.
Previous hospitalizations
The former owner of Fiorentina had suffered in 2017 cerebral ischemia and remained hospitalized for two months at the Gemelli Polyclinic where he also returned in 2020in the midst of a coronavirus pandemic.
