Vladimir Putin expands the network of his “influencers” in Europe

Former Prime Minister François Fillon is expected to join the board of directors of Zarubezhneft – a wholly owned Russian state oil group. The offer came to him via a Russian government decree signed by Prime Minister Michail Mišustin. Fillon represents the first French “big fish” that Vladimir Putin caught in his net.
