Vehicles of the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles brand have achieved exceptional results from Euro NCAP tests, with the ID. Buzz Cargo which received the prestigious Platinum award and the Caddy Cargo which was awarded Gold.
The ID. Buzz Cargo has demonstrated high safety thanks to its advanced driver assistance systems. With features such as lane keeping, dynamic speed adaptation and automatic braking in the event of obstacles, including pedestrians and cyclists, the electric vehicle stood out for its performance in Euro NCAP tests.
In particular, the Blind Spot Assist system has proven highly effective in monitoring surrounding traffic and proactively adapting speed, receiving an impressive score of 83% in the Safety Assist category, thus earning Platinum recognition for safety in commercial vehicles.
The Caddy Cargo also impressed Euro NCAP’s test engineers, especially with its emergency braking and lane-keeping ability. With advanced driver assistance systems, the Caddy Cargo achieved a rating of 68% in the Safety Assist category, earning the prestigious Gold award for its overall performance in 2024.
