VOLVO TRUCKS ITALY The new Gamma Aero will be the protagonist at the Transpotec Logitec in Milan – Companies

The new Aero range from Volvo Trucks Italia will be the undisputed protagonist of Transpotec Logitec, the prestigious event dedicated to the world of transport and logistics organized by Fiera Milano.

From 8 to 11 May, at pavilion 18P Stand K14-M19, visitors will have the opportunity to discover Volvo’s new Aero range, designed to be the most efficient ever and in line with the Volvo Group’s goal of zero CO2 emissions from its vehicles by 2050.

In an absolute preview, it will be possible to admire the new Volvo FH Aero diesel tractor, which can also be powered by biofuels such as HVO. This model, equipped with a 500 HP engine with I-Save technology, represents the most efficient engine ever produced by Volvo. It is ideal for long-range operations, offering a significant reduction in fuel consumption without compromising drivability and performance.

Another novelty that will attract attention will be the FH Aero Electric tractor, designed for intercity transport. This vehicle, with a total combined mass of 44 tonnes, offers an impressive power of 490 kW (equivalent to 666 hp) and a range of up to 350 km on a single charge. To complete the offer, at the same stand there will be an Ultrafast charging column from Plenitude, a company controlled by Eni, with a power of 300 kW.

This initiative is part of the projects envisaged by the partnership between Volvo Group and Eni, which have joined forces to promote the use of alternative energy carriers. The common objective is to promote the energy transition process and actively contribute to the decarbonisation of the activities of both companies.
