Presenting the plan “Serbia 2027 – a leap into the future”, Vučić pointed out that there is no greater concern for children and the elderly.
“We have made a decision to reconstruct almost all maternity hospitals in the next four years. First Belgrade, then Nis, Kragujevac, Novi Sad. In agreement with the president of Republika Srpska, we will do the same in Banja Luka,” Vučić said in an address to the public at the Palace of Serbia.
If we want more children, but we cannot organize maternity hospitals, says Vučić, then we are hypocrites.
Vučić said that a lot of money was invested in health care, and pointed out that only a few countries in the world treat as many diseases as Serbia for free.
“In the next three years, we will increase the budgets for rare diseases and innovative medicines by more than 200,000 million euros,” said Vučić.
The plan “Serbia 2027 – a leap into the future” envisages six priorities – raising the standard of living of citizens, accelerated modernization of the country, infrastructure development, then industrialization, agriculture and the environment, integral development and Expo 2027.
