CRACOVIA – On the eighth day of the war, the exodus to the frontiers of the free and peaceful world takes on biblical proportions. One and a half million people left Ukraine under bombs. Those that crossed the southern and western gates at ten in the evening – the entrances to Poland and Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Moldova – numbered at least one million and two hundred thousand.
