After the latest strong Russian attacks against energy infrastructure, Ukraine is preparing for possible evening blackouts of electricity supplies: the national operator Ukrenergo has raised the alarm, predicting a “particularly difficult” situation. The attack, which also left one dead and a dozen injured, targeted electricity production and transmission facilities in the regions of Poltava in the east, Kirovograd in the center, Zaporizhzhia in the south, and Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Vinnytsia
