The Zamora punk-rock band Baxtards returns to the scene with “Undo”single and video that come to light two years after what was his last work “Jambos”also produced by themselves, like most of their works published since the band’s formation in 2008.
Con “Undoing”the theme with which Baxtards They return to the scene, the band reaffirms itself in a new stage with lyrics in Spanish but betting on the musical eclecticism that has always characterized them. In this case a thrash-metal song with voices close to rap or new metal, in line with his previous work.
“Undoing” talks about the deep Spain, the deep Zamora, the daily reality that the band lives and that “sometimes it is stale and tragic, but sometimes it is also simple and straightforward”. A reality that they wanted to represent through a clip filmed at the Hostal San Isidro (Villaodio), a place where they drink beers when they go down to the rehearsal room and from which “The inspiration to write this song came partly”. Also a place where the band will screen the new clip as a local premiere for the townspeople and regulars of the bar.
After this launch, Baxtards They will get back into the studio to record a new EP that will be released throughout 2024 with four new songs in Spanish, “musically different from everything we have been doing until now”as stated in the training.
For now, since Mondo Sonoro Northwest edition we premiere exclusively “Undoing”whose video clip you can see below:
