Came back TEAM Gz, or what is the same: festive and protest music returns in Galician. After two years without releasing songs, in 2024 the Chantada band arrives full of strength with their new single “Back to the Game”. This co-production of Mr. Mother (producer and DJ of the group) with Petrowski (producer of great prestige on the Galician scene and former member of the group Nothing), about which they write and interpret, as always, Torozas, Iagueiro y Alessov; It has a video clip by Lara Caeiro y Lorenzo Negueruela.
TEAM Gz It combines protest and party in its themes, thus taking the public from the most protest songs to the most danceable sounds. An experience that, from the band, they describe as “made to live with the public, which is another protagonist of the live show”. Until now, TIAM Gz had an album called “[De] construction” (2021) in which different styles are mixed: hip-hop, pop, acoustic, trap, etc. Going from a version of the Muiñeira de Chantada, “Muinheira-rap”even a full-fledged reggaeton, “Rout”.
TEAM Gz They combine positivity, collectivity and social justice. It all begins in 2018 when four of Chantada’s childhood friends decide to form a rap group. The reality is that they did not have much in common in terms of their musical styles, but there was a clear objective: to make music to enjoy, to enjoy, and to transmit their values. This is how with the flow of Torozasthe style of Iagueirothe metrics of Alessov and the melodies of Mr. Mother nace TEAM Gz. Since its birth, the band has shared the bill with great artists on the musical scene such as SFDK, Underworld Rebellion, High Paw, trace them o Fourth Fair.
