Geneva/Malmö – The Swiss ESC hope Nemo (24) enjoys living in Berlin – only one thing bothers me: “What really annoys me is that you can never be sure when you will arrive somewhere because there are so many strikes,” said Nemo German press agency. “That’s why I bought a small scooter to get from A to B more quickly.” Nemo comes from Biel in Switzerland, lives in Zurich and Berlin, but calls Berlin her “secret favorite”. “I love Berlin so much because it is such a creative city that is constantly changing. I have wonderful relationships here. Berlin is a city in which everyone can be whatever they want. Nemo identifies as non-binary, not clearly female or male, and adds: “Berlin lets you be who you are. It’s a fun city.”
Nemo made it into the final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden, on Thursday evening with the song “The Code”. The final takes place on Saturday.
