Brazilian volleyball knows, this Sunday (10/3), the champion of yet another competition for the 2023/2024 season. Sada Cruzeiro and Vedacit Guarulhos will duel from 7pm, in São José (SC), for the men’s Copa Brasil cup. O Sportsv2 transmit.
This Sunday’s dispute is worth the eighth cup of the Copa Brasil for the team from Minas Gerais, which won its first in 2014 and is the current champion of the competition. The São Paulo team, current state champions, are in an unprecedented final. The title is also worth a place in the 2024 Super Cup and the 2025 South American Championship.
In the Bet7k Superliga, Sada Cruzeiro leads, with Vedacit Guarulhos in third place. Both are already guaranteed in the playoffs.
In the Copa Brasil semi, Sada Cruzeiro beat Sesi 3-0, while Vedacit Guarulhos came up against Vôlei Renata in the tie-break. In São José, Filipe Ferraz is without libero Alê, with a knee injury. He also changed one of the clocks, with Rodriguinho starting in place of Vaccari this Saturday. Nery Tambeiro, on the other hand, counted on good performances from Pato and Babu, who came off the bench at the turn of the semi-final.
