Last Thursday, March 21, the Superior Court of Bogotá sentenced the influencer Aida Victoria Merlano to 13 years in prison for her alleged complicity in the escape of her mother, former congresswoman Aida Merlano Rebolledo in 2019.
After her conviction was announced and after her defense stated that she would file an appeal for the Supreme Court of Justice to annul the sentence, the young woman announced through her social networks that the National Tax and Customs Directorate ( Dian) seized his bank account without prior notice.

According to what was stated by the content creator, the day after she was sentenced, that is, last Friday, March 22, she received a payment from Facebook that disappeared hours later. “Today (this Tuesday) the payment did not appear in my account. “I call the bank and they tell me that I have a embargo on the Dian de Barranquilla,” said Merlano.
Under that same line, the influencer assured that she has not received a notification from Dian, but rather that the entity seized her for an alleged debt that she justifies not having. “By calling my accountant, calling my tax professional, calling my entire legal team, they sent me proof that I have paid everything. “I don’t know why they seized me.”
