Without Cristiano Ronaldo, Portugal celebrate goals when facing Sweden. Selecao das Quinas won 5-2.

Portugal faces Sweden in a test match at the Dom Afonso Henriques Stadium, Friday (22/3). Selecao das Quinas appeared without their captain, Cristiano Ronaldo in this match.

The hosts opened the scoring in the 24th minute through Rafael Leao. Matheus Nunes then doubled the lead in the 33rd minute after Robin Olsen’s unstoppable low kick.

Portugal closed the first half with a 3-0 lead. Bruno Fernandes got his name on the scoreboard following a pass from Nelson Semedo.

After the break, Portugal continued the goal party through Bruma in the 57th minute. Bruno Fernandes steals the ball in the opponent’s defense area. He then passed the ball to Bruma to break into the Swedish goal.

A minute later, Sweden was able to reduce the gap. Victor Gyokeres snatched Emil Holm’s ball into a goal in the 58th minute.

Portugal pulled away again by scoring the fifth goal in the 61st minute. Semedo recorded his second assist in this match. Goncalo Ramos cheated on his measurable pass to trick Robin Olsen.

Sweden was able to score their second goal in this match at the end of the match. Gustaf Nilsson listed his name on the scoreboard. Portugal won 5-2.

In the next match, Portugal will again play a test match by visiting Slovenia’s headquarters, Wednesday (27/3).
