WWE begins changes to show production

At the beginning of the year, it was news that Kevin Dunn was leaving WWE after more than three decades in the company, with the reasons for this later being highlighted.

WWE later announced that Lee Fitting had joined the company as Head of Media and Production after nearly 20 years at ESPN.

However, according to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, changes to the production of shows of WWE have already started to notice.

The journalist highlighted the fact that last Monday’s Raw had more segments similar to those of UFC and boxing, in order to present the Wrestling program more as a sport.

An example of this were the videos showing the arrivals of CM Punk and Cody Rhodes at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, and the clocks showing the time at which they occurred.

Dave Meltzer says that this was a first sample, and that the changes should become more evident in the coming weeks.

What do you think of these changes in the production of shows to WWE?
