Seven authors, seven stories to discover a hidden and sparkling world: that of yokai. Creatures who are sometimes shy or dangerous, others isolated or trapped in a reality they no longer recognize, others still thirsty for revenge for the most disparate reasons. Tsukumogami, nekomusume, kappa, hitokai, boroborotonRyujin e kosenjobi these are just some of the fantastic creatures that populate the pages of this collection, capable of creating ineffable realities but also of reflecting extremely human traits.
THE CURATOR
Caterina Franciosi was born in 1990 in a small town on the Romagna Riviera on the border with the Marche. You attended classical high school and, subsequently, the faculty of foreign languages and cultures at the University of Urbino. In 2018 she opened the blog The Literary Salon which deals with interviews and reviews. He collaborates with various publishing houses, websites, Facebook groups and magazines, including the cultural association Italian Sword & Sorcery in the short stories section and the magazine Life Factory Magazine in the reviews section. He has published short stories in various anthologies, including Vampire Water, The Sailor and the Mermaid e North wind (in Dreamscapes The Lost Taleseditrice GDS), Behind the wall (in Broken WingsPAV Edizioni, against violence against women), War Crows (in Warriorsa female fantasy anthology published by Le Mezzelane) and Murt’s charity (in Halloween all’italianafrom the contest of the LetteraturaHorror.it portal).
