ZF Group has announced the rebranding of its Passive Safety Systems division to “ZF LIFETEC”. The new brand is part of the current legal separation of the Passive Safety Systems division within the ZF Group. In 2023, ZF Passive Safety Systems had a turnover of approximately €4.7 billion.
As a leading supplier of passive safety systems, ZF LIFETEC pursues a strategy to further increase turnover and profitability as a stand-alone business driven by automotive industry megatrends and increasingly stringent safety regulations.
In October 2022, ZF Group began the spin-off of the Passive Safety Systems division, giving it more strategic opportunities for future development with a view to enabling greater revenues and profitability. With the new brand, ZF LIFETEC today begins a journey towards an autonomous company, taking advantage of its robust position in a market that is growing structurally, less impacted by changes in the automotive industry.
