Forest fires in MV – district administrator “a bit optimistic”

According to the responsible district administrator Stefan Sternberg (SPD), in the south-west of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the forest fires in areas contaminated with ammunition have been successfully contained. The forces had managed that “the areas did not immediately become larger,” said Sternberg after a briefing by the task force. “We’re a little optimistic.”
