Kean, no goal and red card with Huddersfield

An evening that was anything but memorable for Moise Kean. The former Juventus striker had been deployed in Everton by Rafa Benitez in the League Cup match against Huddersfield, but he did not score and was even sent off in the 59th minute for a reaction foul in midfield, after having suffered a hard entry from Thomas (cautioned in the circumstance). Everton still managed to win 2-1, with Townsend’s decisive goal in the 79th minute.
