Beckenbauerās children, 23-year-old Joel and 20-year-old Francesca, were also named as beneficiaries of his estate. They received ownership of properties in KitzbĆ¼hel and Salzburg, two locations that hold sentimental value for the family.
The familyās home in KitzbĆ¼hel, which includes access to an exclusive ski area, was reportedly purchased for 7.75 million euros in 2020. Beckenbauer and his wife also owned a property in Salzburg, which they had initially built as a villa before acquiring it eight years later.
