Fwala-lo Marin from Córdoba has been crowned the winner of the XVI Artez Blai International Prize for Research on the Performing Arts.
Thus, the prestigious Spanish theater publishing house will publish Marin’s study titled “Thinking about theatrical direction.”
The jury, made up of Fernando Gómez Grande, Guadalupe Soria and Manuela Vera, made the decision unanimously, and highlighted that the work of the woman from Córdoba is “a detailed study based on practice that conscientiously breaks down all the elements that “They come together in this discipline, which is fundamental in contemporary theater.”

Fwala-lo Marin is a researcher and teacher of the Bachelor’s Degree in Art and Management at the Provincial University of Córdoba in the Final Work Workshop and Final Work Preparation Workshop chairs. She is a member of the Argentine Theater chair of the UNC Theater Degree. In her work as a theater director, she premiered three stagings of her own dramaturgy (such as Bucear sin agua) and has worked as an actress in various shows.
