Dispute hearing Dispute on 2024 General Election Results (PHPU). the second day begins. Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court (MK) Suhartoyo opened the trial directly.

The trial was held in the MK courtroom, Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Central Jakarta, Thursday (28/3/2024). Eight constitutional judges were present at the second trial, namely Suhartoyo, Saldi Isra, Arief Hidayat, Daniel YP Foekh, M Guntur Hamzah, Ridwan Mansyur, Enny Nurbaningsih, and Arsul Sani.

“We are starting the trial, the PHPU 1/PHPU.PRES-XXII/2024 and 2/PHPU.PRES-XXII/2024 trials were opened and declared open to the public,” said Suhartoyo.

The agenda for today’s hearing is to listen to the KPU’s response as the respondent, the legal team of the Prabowo-Gibran pair as the related parties. Then also listen to information from Bawaslu as the information giver.

Suhartoyo then invited each team, including the applicant’s legal team, the respondent, related parties and Bawaslu to introduce themselves. The applicant was also present at the hearing.

“To introduce those present,” he said.

For your information, the first trial of the presidential election dispute was held on Wednesday (27/3). The first hearing agenda is to hear the applicant’s petition.

The application submitted by Anies-Cak Imin has been registered by the Constitutional Court with Number 1/PHPU.PRES-XXII/2024. Meanwhile, the application submitted by Ganjar-Mahfud was registered under Number 2/PHPU.PRES-XXII/2024.
