Flavio Briatore, the well-known entrepreneur and former Formula 1 team manager, recently underwent heart surgery at the San Raffaele hospital in Milan. The surgery was necessary to remove a benign tumor found in his heart during routine checks.
Briatore, who will celebrate his 74th birthday on April 12, shared the news himself on Instagram, thanking the medical team for their successful operation. The procedure was done using minimally invasive techniques, and Briatore expressed his gratitude to Professor Francesco Maisano and the Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit at San Raffaele.
Aside from the medical staff, Briatore also acknowledged the support of his ex-wife, Elisabetta Gregoraci, and his son, as well as his friends who stood by him during this time. He has since been discharged from the hospital and will undergo regular check-ups in the coming days.
In his Instagram video, Briatore emphasized the importance of regular health check-ups, urging his followers to prioritize their well-being. Elisabetta Gregoraci also shared her experience of supporting Briatore during his surgery, highlighting the fragility of health and the importance of being there for loved ones in times of need.
As Briatore prepares to get back on track, he serves as a reminder of the significance of preventive healthcare and the impact it can have on one’s life. The entrepreneur’s resilience and determination to overcome this health challenge serve as an inspiration to many.
