Cortina. Raging fire destroys the roof and attic of a house under renovation. The alarm went off at 3 am today, Saturday 16 October, in via Dei Marangoni in Cortina. The flames, very high, were noticed by a person passing by, who gave the alarm.
The firefighters of Cortina arrived on the spot, then supported by the volunteer firefighters of San Vito and Cortina. It took over two hours to put out the flames. Dismantling and reclamation operations are in progress.
The causes of the fire are not known at the moment.
No one was injured, as flames broke out in a housing complex undergoing renovation that includes three houses. The central building caught fire, the fire did not affect the other buildings.
