In fact, since its introduction, the V4 has represented the essence of sportiness in the dual Ducati family, and the Pikes Peak does not want to be only the sportiest Multistrada ever, but also the most powerful model in the entire crossover segment.
Its racing soul is enhanced by the new livery inspired by the colors and graphics of the Desmosedici GP ’21, with number plates drawn on both sides of the tank, further highlighting the link with the world of racing. To further emphasize the innate sportiness, the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak features numerous parts in carbon fiber and the Akrapovič silencer in titanium and carbon (approved), as well as other distinctive aesthetic elements such as the low smoked plexi, the unmistakable gold anodization of the sheaths of the Öhlins fork, the two-tone black and red rear saddle with the V4 logo highlighted and the small Ducati Corse badge applied to the front.
The performance, fluidity and reliability offered by the V4 Granturismo engine, the extreme lightness, comfort, rich equipment and electronics have always been the cornerstones of the Multistrada V4 family and are also highlighted in the new Pikes Peak. Despite being extremely compact and light (less than 67 kg), the engine is the most powerful in its class: from 1,200 cc, it is capable of delivering 170 hp at 10,500 rpm and maximum torque of 125 Nm at 8,750 rpm. .
