Mourning in the school world of the city of the two towers which loses one of its most representative figures. On Saturday morning, in the parish church of San Dalmazzo, the funeral of Professor Giovanni Gennaro, who passed away at the age of 74, took place in Asti on Wednesday 1 December.
Originally from Pachino, in the province of Syracuse, he was very attached to his native land of Sicily but also to the adopted community of Cuorgnè where he was esteemed and appreciated teacher at the Giovanni Cena middle school from 1976 to 2007, also covering the post of deputy headmaster.
