Omicron turns off the New Year of EU countries

PARIS – It is the second New Year in the middle of the pandemic, and if this time many countries are not in lockdown thanks to the vaccination campaign, more or less severe restrictions have returned almost everywhere due to the new Omicron variant. It will be a party without music in bars and restaurants like in Greece or without street parties and fireworks like in the UK or France.
