OLBIA. Following the indications and updates of the Law Decree approved by the Government last May 18 relating to measures to counter the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic, the scenario changes in view of the next Rally Italia Sardegna, fifth round of the WRC World Rally Championship scheduled from 3 to 6 June between Olbia and Alghero.

The event organized by the Automobile Club of Italy will in fact take place with open doors. In fact, the presence of the public will be allowed during the special stages after the closed-door edition last October. Precisely to follow the indications of the new Law Decree, the access of enthusiasts must however respect the limitations that the Rally Italia Sardegna has already shared with the Sardinia Region and with the competent local authorities.

In the next few days the details of the Public Zones will be published on the website www.rallyitaliasardegna.com where the presence of spectators will be allowed and for each area a maximum capacity will be identified, of which only 25% can be used. For example, if a Public Zone provides for the presence of a maximum of 100 people, access will be allowed to only 25 enthusiasts.

On the other hand, the service park and the start and finish areas will remain closed to the public in order to comply with the protocols provided by the FIA regarding the sensitive areas of the rally. . The staff is working on the readjustment of these important aspects and is also finalizing the Spectators Guide, which will be ready in the days close to the event and always made available
