Europe hangs by the Russian gas line.  But can Putin really cut it?

Russia collects today 400 million euros a day from methane sales to Europe. Over the course of 2022, considering the summer, it would be more than 100 billion euros. Can you afford to give up this money – as Putin threatens – an economy that is already on the way to losing 15 percent of GDP this year, a huge drain (Italy lost 9 percent of the terrible 2020 lockdown)? All the more so as it risks being the last rich collection.
