Man Arrested for Causing Victim to Lose Eye in Violent Altercation

The 2nd Peace Court of San Martín has decreed provisional arrest for Geovany Max V. after he allegedly hit another individual, causing him to lose his eye. Geovany Max V. was arrested during the initial hearing for the crime of serious injuries and will now be transferred to the La Esperanza Penal Center.

The incident reportedly took place while Geovany Max V. and Jaime P. were chatting in a cantina in the Centro neighborhood of San Martín. A sudden fight broke out, resulting in Jaime falling to the ground with extensive bleeding. The National Civil Police was notified by witnesses about the altercation, which occurred on the afternoon of April 20.

Jaime was rushed to a healthcare center where he underwent tests revealing the severity of his injuries, leading to the loss of his eye. The court has taken swift action in ensuring Geovany Max V. remains in custody while the case is investigated further.
