Omar Nordi is the new coach of Union Calcio Basso Pavese (Promotion). After the experience in the first part of the season in Serie D at Fanfulla, the former Pavia striker restarts from the yellow and black club of president Fabio Spada taking the place of the resigning Valerio Bernorio. With him a return to the amateur football stage, that of Giacomo Brega in the role of external sports consultant of the Union Calcio Basso Pavese alongside the management of the club which in addition to the president Spada is composed of the deputy Alberto Damiani and the general manager Francesco Gangemi. «I am proud that a figure with Nordi’s professionalism becomes part of our company – explains the president Spada -. Then, I went to Oltrepo, and at the end of my career again at Apos. Seeing the field of the Comunale always gives me great emotion and I am very happy to be able to coach this team », says Bernini. In the plans of the stradellina club, there is the desire to take back the First category, after relegation: «Stradella must aspire to other stages, but we know that winning is not easy in any category. First of all, it will take a lot of desire and enthusiasm from everyone. Both the youngsters who will be confirmed and the new ones will have to be animated by a great passion ».
