Attention Lombard Citizens: Update Your Electronic Health Record Settings by April 30

In a recent update to the regional healthcare platform aimed at making healthcare services more efficient, Lombard citizens are reminded to update an important option in their electronic health records by Tuesday, April 30.

As part of the update, citizens must change a setting to continue (or start) receiving notifications via text message or email, primarily related to electronic prescriptions. This update is crucial for those who wish to receive alerts on health services of interest to them.

To make this change, citizens need to access their electronic health record and navigate to the “Profile and Settings” section. Here, they must confirm their contact details, choose the method of notification (sms or email), and activate notifications for the desired services. Even those who had previously set up notifications will need to update their settings.

For those less familiar with technology, the update can also be completed at the choice and revocation desks of the relevant healthcare facilities, through their general practitioner or pediatrician, or at the pharmacy.

Regional councilor for Welfare, Guido Bertolaso, emphasized the importance of this update and the benefits it offers, including time savings. An information campaign involving Ats, family doctors, and pharmacies has been launched to encourage the majority of Lombardy people to choose electronic prescriptions as their preferred method of receiving medical alerts.

Failure to update the settings by April 30 may result in a disruption of notifications related to important health services. Take the time to update your electronic health record settings and ensure you stay informed about your healthcare needs.
