TEL AVIV – Yair Lapid, new foreign minister and alternate prime minister, will be in Rome on Sunday for the first state mission since the new Israeli government took office less than two weeks ago. In an official statement, the Foreign Ministry spokesman announced that Lapid will travel to the Italian capital to meet the American Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who, as part of the ongoing European tour, will stop in Rome for the meeting of the Global anti-Isis coalition and then in Bari and Matera for the G20.
