Dialogue directly with those responsible for purchasing decisions of some of the most influential international organizations: both within the United Nations system and with the managers of some of the main multilateral banks on the planet. This is the opportunity offered on May 15th by Fiera di Roma, Internationalia, Unops and ICE Agency to Italian companies that register for Codeway, the International Cooperation Fair, and who will be able to participate in a series of public and restricted sessions aimed at to provide valuable insights on how to participate in World Bank or European Investment Bank tenders or how to become suppliers to the United Nations system, emphasizing the importance of sustainable procurement and supplier sustainability.

The day dedicated to Procurement makes Codeway Expo a strategic bridge towards fruitful and responsible collaborations on an international level. The companies present will have the opportunity to broaden their horizons, coming into contact with global procurement leaders in a context of open and constructive discussion on the future of the sector. In addition to the moment of public dialogue, all representatives of the Multilateral Banks will remain available in the afternoon for face-to-face meetings with companies that request them. This is a unique, as well as free, opportunity in Italy.

The day of the 16th offers a series of unmissable events for entrepreneurs and company managers. Between 10.30am and 12.15pm, pre-registered participants will have the opportunity to meet key figures in UN procurement and discover the latest trends and agency requirements, with a particular focus on sustainability and efficiency in humanitarian emergencies.

From 10.30am, Anne-Claire Howard, Director of the UNOPS Procurement Group, and Carl Skau, Deputy Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of WFP, will lead a discussion on the role of the private sector in sustainable development through UN procurement.
