Energy-intensive companies have been openly threatening to emigrate for months because Germany has simply become too expensive as a location. But the Minister of Economics was, at least in public perception, mainly busy in the boiler rooms of his citizens.

In the meantime, Habeck seems to have realized that he won’t make any progress with the “head through the wall” method.
