BRUSSELS – After a close negotiation between the Commission and the Italian government consumed in the last 12 hours, the last decision on Alitalia. According to the latest agreements, the Commission will announce the decision on the 900 million loan granted in 2017 to Alitalia. The ruling, as widely expected, will be negative: that is, that money is considered state aid that is not compatible with European legislation and therefore must be returned.
