During the morning, the shares of Amplifon, a leading company in the hearing solutions market and component of the FTSE MIB, showed a negative trend. Investors are awaiting with interest the financial data for the first quarter of 2024 and the conference scheduled for today. Today’s decline is also partially attributed to the less brilliant performance of Demant, a Danish company operating in the same sector, which recently announced a turnover of 5.42 billion Danish crowns (approximately 727 million euros). This represents organic growth of 3%, below expectations of 4.7%.
Amplifon saw its market value reduce by 0.73%, falling to 31.32 euros per share. Analysts expect the trend to continue downwards, identifying a first support at 31.14 euros and a further level at 30.96 euros, while resistance is identified at 31.57 euros.
