The international rating agency MSCI ESG Ratings, which specializes in monitoring approximately 2,800 companies in terms of sustainability and governance practices, has confirmed the progress of the rating of Atlantia, which from level BB has passed to BBB.
The company therefore rises in the ranking of the “Transportation Infrastructure” sector, positioning itself among the top 11 companies (out of a total of about 30) that make up the MSCI ACWI Index.
The positive trend is due to the progress recently made by the Group to integrate ESG factors into its business models. In particular, the ability to relate and listen to local communities and the constant commitment to minimize the impact of activities on the territory and the environment were considered.
