The newcomer to the A3 family presents itself as the main innovation in the range for 2024. According to Audi, it was designed for those looking for a driving experience similar to that of an SUV without giving up the agility of a compact car. The ground clearance of the body increases by 30 mm (15 mm thanks to the larger diameter tires and another 15 mm provided by the new suspension), which allows for greater freedom of movement.

All this together with a specific external and internal design that nods to the more classic crossovers. In fact, you can see the black moldings and miniskirts, combined with some metal applications that simulate “reinforcements” like the one clearly visible at the front. Accentuated fenders highlight the standard 17-inch wheels, while 18- and 19-inch wheels are available as options. Furthermore, the A3 allstreet also offers better visibility thanks to the slightly higher seating position. Options include a power tailgate, removable tow bar and a storage package. Inside, DAB+ digital radio, touch display, Audi virtual cockpit and an inductive smartphone charger are available as standard.

For its launch, expected this month, the new Audi A3 will be available with two engines/transmissions. The 35 TFSI is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine with 110 kW (or 150 HP) combined with a seven-speed S tronic gearbox. It is a light hybrid. The 110 kW (150 HP) 35 TDI diesel version is also associated with a 7-speed S tronic gearbox. The other engines, including a plug-in hybrid version (PHEV), will be launched later, at the end of 2024. While waiting to know its cost in Italy, to get an idea, Audi has announced that in Germany, the 35 version TFSI 1 with 110 kW (150 HP) S tronic will be priced starting from 37,450 euros.
