The roadmap presented today by Banca Widiba is called the Charter of Responsibility and illustrates the set of concrete actions and initiatives that make up a new way of doing responsible business, in various areas of sustainability. From the environmental one, with a focus on digital and on energy saving actions, to the social one, with financial education projects and the commitment to inclusion and gender and wage equality, passing through the corporate one, with policies dedicated to employees and stakeholders in terms of diversity, training and welfare. Between these areas, Banca Widiba offers a consultancy model with an extremely diversified range of banking and financial instruments, with around 1,300 ESG products and a constantly updated catalog.
In terms of social sustainability, Banca Widiba pays particular attention to the enhancement of diversity and inclusion and sets itself as a virtuous example on the market and towards society: 48% of its workforce is in fact made up of women, as well as 45% of the management, and boasts an 80% female presence in the front line. Gender equity is a fundamental point for Banca Widiba, a reality that boasts wage parity, with a salary ratio calculated on the average of woman-man salaries substantially equal to 1 (98.4%). For years the Bank has been carrying out the WOW – Women of Widiba program which enhances the female component in the banking sector and in financial consultancy through training plans and events. Consistent with this positioning, Banca Widiba launched various initiatives in 2021, with the aim of providing concrete help in support of female entrepreneurship, both with the Women Dreaming Coach social project and through a dedicated product offer that includes POS installation costs zeroed or halved.
Among the many initiatives promoted by Banca Widiba, there are also recent innovations aimed at simplifying the banking experience and helping to save people’s time, while making processes more secure, efficient and accessible: the launch of the account opening current integrated with SPID and that of the Dialogue videobanking functionality.
