Barbie, the most famous doll in the world, has converted to the circular economy. US toy maker Mattel unveiled Barbie Loves the Ocean, its first line of dolls made from recycled plastic, salvaged from the ocean.
The operation is in line with the goal already set by the manufacturer: to reach 100% recycled, recyclable or bio-based plastic materials in all its products and packaging by 2030.
